WordPress is preparing to release WordPress 3.0 very soon which will provide multi-user support and allow “super admins” to update plugins across multiple sites. WordPress 3.0 will make it easier for the average blogger to launch their own blog networks via a single log on account. The Release Candidate of WordPress 3.0 is now out for everyone to download and try.
The full release was set for May 2010, but as of the end of May it hasn’t come out yet and it’s looking like it will be early June before it’s fully released.
Full menu options: You can add pages, categories, and custom website links. With the custom website links option, you could link straight to a post or another website. The setup is similar to the current sidebar widget area where you can easily drag and drop to customize it just the way you like.

Multi User = WordPress 3.0. MU allows you to maintain multiple sites from a single admin panel. The update is helpful for anyone that runs more than one site or blog and would like the simplicity of logging in once and maintaining them all from one place. This is especially helpful if these sites share content, templates, or plugins.
