YouTube Your Videos With Creative Commons and Licensing
Do you want folks to reuse your Youtube videos or would you prefer to keep your uploaded videos to yourself?
By Default the Standard YouTube License is selected – Lets you retain ownership of your video while granting YouTube permission to host and share it.
As part of the launch of Creative Commons licensing on YouTube, you’ll also be able to mark any or all of your videos with the Creative Commons CC-BY license
that lets others share and remix your work, so long as they give you credit. To mark your video with the Creative Commons license, select ‘Creative Commons Attribution license’ on the upload page or on the Video Description page:
By marking your original video with a Creative Commons license, you are granting the entire YouTube community the right to reuse and edit that video. Content must be your own.
