Happy Father’s Day Daddy…I love you always and forever. I will dance with you forever in my heart. You are the dad of all dads and have been the main man of my household growing up…thank you dad!
This picture has to be at least 30 years old. I have been walking around with a camera since I was at least 14-15 years old? I can’t even remember how old my parents are in this picture? They have been married over 50 years at least that was the last number I stop counting at?
I must have been in my 20′s when this picture was taken by neice…my folks and love ones had come over my house after church. I gave my parents a book after church created by Ebenezer AME church on an Easter Sunday….my godsend parents were very grateful and it made my heart dance. I was trying to find myself and become an independent adult at this time. I love my family.
Thank you daddy. Happy Father’s Day to my dad and my mom…simply because she deserves accolades too. She was as wonderful and ruled the nest when dad was not presence…they were united and one! Married 50 plus years….
It is moments like these that I will treasure in my memory forever. I was very proud to make dinner for my parents in my 1 bedroom apartment. My Dad was flipping through the pages…and my Mom was ooohing and aaahing. You know how parents do when the kids does something…they have always appreciate me just simply be me. I did not drink alcohol back then and I did not smoke in front of my parent back then and still don’t to this day. This picture is at least 20+ years old. I thought I was doing a little something with my Ikea furnished apartment combined with thrift store items..my dad owned a thrift store back then…one of his many entrepreneurial ventures.
Dinner with the family and everyone was not present….my courtship stage before I married my husband. Good times…
