President Barack Obama sit down on the Daily Show to discuss midterm election, unemployment, health care reform and changing the system in Washington. President Barack Obama has become the first sitting US president to appear on the satirical TV programme, The Daily Show, alongside host Jon Stewart.
Stewart called President Obama’s efforts on health care reform “timid,” prompting a tough response from the President.
“I have a profound disagreement with you,” President Obama said, citing a specific case in which the reforms made a big difference for a cancer patient in New Hampshire.
The President held his ground, but funnyman Stewart didn’t seem interested in giving him too many chuckles about the serious issues facing the democratic folks in Washington.
