Guarisco Gallery is located at 1120 22nd Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20037 202-333-8533
The Guarisco Gallery has more than 600 works in their collection, the gallery offers the most extensive selections of important 19th and early 20th century works of art worldwide. After flipping through the catalog and gagging at the prices, my dream piece to own would be the Delphin Enjolras, French High Tea and Gossip priced $82,000. It pays to dream but I found the artwork very impressive plus I like to think the women are gossiping about art, current events, politics, news, photography and the latest fashion. The gallery is interest in purchasing and selling paintings from the 19th and 20th century era. Feel free to submit photographs of watercolors, paintings and sculptures. In the meantime, I will tuck my catalog on the bookshelf until my coffers are full to purchase the painting above….or a watercolor.
No poet, no artist of any sort, has his complete meaning alone. His significance, his appreciation is the appreciation of his relation to the dead poets and artists. (T. S. Eliot)
