This picture is a photograph of hope for the many Haitian family and friends awaiting to hear news about their love ones. After viewing many graphic images of dead people leaked onto the Internet, it is nice that there are people who are alive still being search for by the military among the rubble. I wish they would not give up the search and rescue. There must be hundreds still alive in small pockets of air. This latest survivor proves that.
U.S. troops rescued the 35-year-old, who was covered in dust and dressed only in his underwear and carried him out from the ruins in downtown Port-au-Prince.
The man – named as Rico Dibrivell – was taken for medical treatment. It was reported that he was suffering a crushed leg.
