Put the Ox Tails in the pot filled with water. Add seasoning you love, onions, carrots, green onions, etc . I am putting pepper, green onions, garlic, red pepper, thyme, cilantro, oregano and bay seasoning in mine today. Serve over white/brown rice and we will be having glory greens out of the can with ours tonight. I heard soo much about Glory greens from Steve Harvey and my relatives that it makes for a great way to make sure you get your greens without all of the hard work. The greens taste good too!
Cooking time: Boil and then turn down to prevent water from boiling over the pot onto the stove top. Cook until the meat is tender…that could take about 3-4 hours. Oh well…if your are surfing the internet or hanging out on your Facebook cyberstreet. Why not have dinner boiling in the background for the family when they arrive home. Plus it makes the home smell all warm and fuzzy in the fall and winter months.
