Digital Photo of the Day | Birds Caught In the Oil Spill

AP photographer Charlie Criedel has just filed what surely will become the iconic images of the Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill: Wildlife turned into crude oil covered wildlife at Louisiana’s East Grand Terre Island. BP does not want you to see these images and have threatened reporters and photographers with arrest.

This is awful….I am speechless! I bet you if President Obama start handing out fines and sanctions in the tune of $1-5 million a day to plug up the hole…those gas guzzling boys will magically plug it up and clean it faster than you can blink.

BP PLC has repeated its promise to pay all “legitimate” claims resulting from the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico after a warning from President Barack Obama.

CEO Tony Hayward wrote Saturday on a company Twitter account that the firm has been committed since the start of the oil spill to paying all legitimate financial claims.
