I read a blog post on Black Star Rising  A Photo Credit Doesn’t Pay the Rent and the professional shutterbug hit it on the nail! For folks who seeking TFCD this article may not rub them the right way. For obvious reasons…..seeking free photography from a photographer is overrated and quite frankly distasteful. I agree with Harlan Ellison point of view in his Youtube video rant about paying the writer. Replace the title writer with photographer and it would be my sentiments exactly…Kudos to Mr. Ellison for keeping it 100% raw and real!

Harrison McClary is a commercial photographer based in Brentwood, Tenn., a suburb of Nashville, represented by Black Star in New York.
