MUSIQ SOULCHILD “SO BEAUTIFUL”. President Elected Barack Obama has swagger like no other President elected to the White House on the hill before him. This is going to be a very interesting ride for the world to witness. I am glad that I am alive to witness it, the good and the funky. Viewing this youtube video lets me know this family are human beings that have real lives like some of us working class folks. Never before had I ever witness any President elected during my lifetime show their family any affection in a public and a loving manner. Never before have I witness a President elected being loving and affectionate toward his family like “President Elected Barack Obama” does towards the “First Lady Michelle Obama” and his daughters. It is quite refreshing and a change from the stiff lips, stiff collars and I am better than you stance that we have seen in the White House. Perhaps this Elected family will encourage others to marry, stay married and have stable households. It is cool to show genuine love towards your family and their behavior towards one another reflects a positive loving and human experience for all of us to follow. I know that they are not perfect and they do too!

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall – she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) .she said she had just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food. While she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid ‘s husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital – (at 6:00 PM Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don’t die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke… Totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.
RECOGNIZING A STROKE

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:
S * Ask the individual to SMILE.
T * Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)
(I.e. It is sunny out today)
R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.
If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency number immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

NOTE: Another ‘sign’ of a stroke is this: Ask the person to ‘stick’ out his tongue.. If the tongue is ‘crooked’, if it goes to one side or the other , that is also an indication of a stroke.

If you are a Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 user then you MUST update later today when the fix is released that secures the latest and most dangerous IE7 security issue. Microsoft releases fix for IE. Microsoft has issued a patch to fix a security flaw believed to have affected as many as 10,000 websites.
Microsoft Internet Explorer is never safe when run under normal settings. I recommend the alternative browser FireFox, Opera or Safari. Internet is very slow downloading images and it freezes up at the most inconvenient moments.
Since upgrading to the very cool WordPress 2.7 Coltrane interface I have notice some changes in one of my favorite plugins called Kish RR which translates several different languages. I received an error and it basically uninstalled itself. This plugin is a simple plugin to display inline translation using the google translate API. Your visitor can read the translation in the offered languages. You can select the languages that you would like the visitor to use. Other feature is that every page have a search-able and index-able page for every language you offer. This is a very nice plugin to have running concurrently with Google Translator. A+
Homepage Excerpts WordPress Plugin is a very cool because it has two main objectives. The first one is to make blogs that use full posts on the homepage more search engine friendly. The second one is to give flexibility to people that want to use both full posts and excerpts on the homepage. I think it nice for those who want that continue reading message at the end of their post. The only thing I did not like about the Homepage Excerpts plugin is it can take away the images from your post. I like images in my post. A+
What is skoffer:
The Skoffer project provides a free service which allows you to build in “One Click Screencasting” into your website.
The goal of Skoffer is to make the web more user friendly and easy by enabling weblogs, PC support forums, wikis etc. to use screencasting. Skoffer provides a very simple API for developers to build screencasting widgets and plugins for every desired website-software. This plugins put a new button on your website which can be used to insert screencasts in seconds and with one click. I haven’t quite figured out how to use this in my daily blogging routine. I prefer to use Adobe Adobe Captivate 2 software enables anyone to rapidly create powerful and engaging simulations, software demonstrations, and scenario-based training without programming knowledge or multimedia skills. Adobe Captivate is a screencast program that outputs swf files using a Microsoft Windows computer. It can also convert Powerpoint files to Flash files. Despite my opinion about this plugin it definetely deserves an honorable mention for their B+ effort.
Smilies Themer allows you to use smilies (emoticons) themes (or packs) to replace the wordpress default ones. I couldn’t get it to work with the jazzy WordPress 2.7 Coltrane interface. It could me doing something wrong? Oh well! C-
SRG Clean Archives plugin is designed to display your archive listings in a clean and uniform fashion that’s Search Engine friendly on a dedicated page or in your sidebar. Too bad it does not work with WordPress 2.7 Coltrane. It is really a beautiful plugin.
I looking around on the Internet for script or a code which would allow me to display java script in my post. I foundWP-UnFormating 1.x to get the job done. I wanted to run a campaign from a site called Unruly Media and the html code would not work the transitional way simply by putting the code in the html editor; it needed a little help. Believe me this plugin does get the job done without all the BS with installing a plugin. It is simple and to the point. AA+
Honorable mention for the day: Random redirect allows you to create a link to yourblog.example.com/?random which will redirect someone to a random post on your blog, in a StumbleUpon-like fashion. You can also specific in the URL random_post_type or random_cat_id. AA+
I may not know much about programming and coding in a language. To be quite frank I don’t want to learn it and will leave that job to the real geeks. I took Cobol, Basic and other programming languages which were very boring and put me to sleep during the lecture way back when we thought there would be tons of jobs in programming. I really enjoy test driving these plugins that I found while surfing the Internet. WordPress plugins can make your blog run more efficiently and smoothly if FTP’ed and installed correctly.

Yikes! After watching this video, it should make you want to wash your hands all the time. Make sure you know who is touching and handling your food. This is really an eye opener. This video need to make it way around the Internet in blazing speed to make everyone aware of this unfortunate incident this family had to endure.
