Spray the Counters and Steel With Vinegar

oranges Spray the Counters and Steel With Vinegar

I’ve been on a frugal girl and let’s get back to natural steez. Several months ago I got hip to the many uses of Vinegar. Oh baby….it works like magic without all the chemicals and fumes. Like dang…I wish I would’ve known all this when I was living on my own and trying to save a few coins. Betta late than never. Spritz spritz the counters, stainless steel, windows and mirrors.

President Obama Signs Sequestered Order

michaelmurphyobama01 President Obama Signs Sequestered Order

Michael Murphy, the Georgia-based artist who creates those incredible multi-layered sculptures, just unveiled a new commissioned piece he created for TIME Magazine. For their iPad edition of their annual Person of the Year issue, Murphy made a huge 8′ X 6′ X 7′ cardboard sculpture of President Barack Obama.

I finally got around to reading Time Magazine Editor’s Desk “The Next America” Against The Odds, The President Built A New Majority. The image gives me the illusion of the President being pulled in every direction. The strings sort of give me the puppet strings thingy.

President was name the 2012 Person of the Year by Time Magazine. If you can find the magazine read pg. 52-96 for everything President Obama and his team.

Black History | Never In A Million Years

michelle Black History | Never In A Million Years

Never in my lifetime could I’ve fathom the thought I would ever see a woman that bear the same skin color as I in the “White House”. You must understand. I never thought for one second, nor dream that I would see a “African American” woman as a “First Lady”. It was not on my radar. Even now I blink. Does my sight beseech me? No. A African African woman in the White House is real. My eyes do not deceive me.

I AM BLACK HISTORY. A BLACK THOUGHT.

Like really in order to be connected in Social Media means to sit at my desk and type out my bantering rants. I did my part for the day. May not like my deets but they are my deets for the newsfeed for today. I must connect to reality today. Life is worthy of staying tuned into…that is it.

Personal and Business Advice to a Relative

advice Personal and Business Advice to a Relative

(Name withheld to protect the identity for private reasons. I am writing this post with the hope that it may help other folks in a similar scenario.)

Real advice is a hard thing to swallow when it comes from a relative. I am not sure why that is the case? There is this expectation that we are simply suppose to shuck and jive in all aspects of our lives, hand out bullshit advice and give half truth opinions. That is a backward approach when adults are discussing business. I have found this is the reasons why family can not conduct and run a business together.

When I got off the telephone last night with a relative. I must admit I was perplexed at how quickly the conversation turned heat. The discussion went from discussing Policy and Procedures at the workplace, Unemployment vs. Resignation and Retirement. Basically we were discussing “Contracts”. I did get a “A” in one of my Paralegal courses. Read the fine print. I suggested the relative contact a employment attorney to discuss the situation for a second opinion.

How to make it as a “Fashion” blogger.

I totally have been lackadaisical with blogging since 2008. My last blog post was October 2012. I had gotten bored and uninspired. After watching and listening to “How to Make it as a Fashion Blogger”. WOW!  Talk about a reality check. They breathe new life into the world of blogging. When I first started blogging 4 plus years ago. I had no clue about what to blog about on a daily basis. Now I know….I had a voice in the cybersphere. Who knew? Lord have mercy. I will be back soon. I miss blogging on my own website thephotographer4you.
