For the pass week we have all listened to all the bantering noise about the deficit bill. Picture this in your imaginations while your choosing sides:
Boehner and his croonies states to the “American” people that want to be dicked in the eardrums, trumpled over like a speeding car and have their wigs twisted off their heads. Oh yeah, they want us upper echeleons folks to not pay taxes on their high incomes and the middle class don’t mind taking one more hit in the gut. Oh yeah, while they are it…they want you know that the “TEA PARTY” can give a shit about you or your grandmother. Finally who will get paid first?
For the first time during my lifetime, the White House and the media open up their airwaves to discuss the process….it ain’t pretty! I can’t remember “ever” when the United States have not been able to pay their bills or discusses on the airwaves. Boy oh boy! Remember when I posted “This picture is worth a trillion dollars?” Some folks left comments that left much to desire and a response to their bully bullshit that was deleted. Heneforth, those are some of the same folks that are now playing politricks behind close doors with the deficit. Go figure….
At the end of the day ” Race has nothing to do with the deficit bill but your money is at stake!” Trust me..it will have a trickle down effect that our ancestors will feel in the grave. They will literally roll over.
If the bill does not pass; welfare, social security, medicare and every program a working class individual rely on will be put on hold…expect a soup kitchen to go up in your community. That all by itself should raise an eyebrow. I suppose Boehners target group is the youngsters and old heads that hang out in cyberspace that can give a hoot about legislature or how their grandparents will be affect by not passing the deficit bill. The big one is military paychecks…dang mane. The women and men that defend our country about to get the short end of the stick.
I would be a concern if the U.S. Treasury has to pick and choose who gets paid and who gets stiffed if the $14.3 trillion debt ceiling isn’t raised and the Treasury runs out of cash.
If the bill is not pass…expect a sinking ship.
Have you written into your state governmenthttps://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welcome.shtml about what is effecting your town and county in the United States about the deficit? Do you hide behind the curtain and your computer screen? Stand up and be heard. This is my bantering rant about the deficit 2011.
I weep for America…ya’ll don’t want to see my ugly cry cause TRUST! I have a ugly crybaby face. Please pray for America…GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Yesterday while watching the Rachel Maddow show, I post this comment on my facebook newsfeed while watching:
Is it time for the President of the United States to use his power of the 14th amendment? Does the president have a duty to protect the American people if the debt plan does not pass? If they can not reach a deal by August 3rd. There is only 172 billion dollars worth of bills – 80 million checks are what is dangling on a string. Who will get paid, who doesn’t? Military, government, SBA, pell grants, etc. You get the picture yet? This is a manufacturer crisis that the Republicans are burdening our government with-what does it mean? 29 billion comes off the top…after that? The active duty men and women who serve our country and child food programs will be the first hit in the gut. WOW! Talk about tanking an already sinking economy. Jeez…
Update while you and I were going about our business:
The House of Representatives just passed Speaker John Boehner’s debt ceiling/deficit reduction bill on a party-line vote.
The House approved legislation on Friday by Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, to reduce the deficit by $915 billion over 10 years and increase the federal debt ceiling by $900 billion. The bill would allow for an additional $1.5 trillion increase in the debt ceiling early next year contingent on two outcomes: Congress enacting further deficit reductions and a balanced budget amendment sent to the states.
The latter condition was added after GOP leaders failed to secure enough votes for passage on Thursday. The language was added to appease hold-out fiscal conservatives. The speaker’s proposal passed on a party line vote, 218-210.
Boehner’s bill now heads to the Senate, where Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has pledged its swift defeat. All Senate Democratic Caucus members are set to vote for a motion to table the Boehner bill. Reid has offered a counter proposal to reduce the deficit by $2.2 trillion over 10 years and provide for just one increase in the debt ceiling through the 2012 elections, which the White House favors. Reid was expected to file cloture on his plan, with a vote expected early Sunday morning.
Senate Democratic and Republican leaders are having intense discussions to come up with a bipartisan solution for raising the debt ceiling.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told reporters that he needs ideas from Republicans sometime Friday if Congress is to meet the Aug. 2 deadline.
A Senate GOP leadership aide said the two sides have until early Sunday morning to reach an agreement.
The two sides are discussing trigger mechanisms that could be used to build bipartisan support. Such triggers would force Congress to carry out another round of deficit reduction before the 2012 election.
