I can talk about the beautiful African American Hollywood women and the “Uncle Tom House Negro” in this blog post. I prefer to discuss the pressing current events that are happening in the world today.
Last night after bopping my head and moving my body to the sounds of Motown that was streamed live from the White House and being enlighten by a solo play about “Thurgood Marshall” played by Lawrence Fishborne. I surfed through channels on my cable television and landed on CNN. I listened to the Cooper Anderson that wear many hats in the photojournalism and news industry until 2:30 AM in the morning. I applaud Cooper for his resilience to report current events and global news from around the world. My heart breaks for the people of Libya.…if there was ever a time that I thought my life was mess up; I no longer think about my own thoughts. “I WEEP”!
While listening to the Anderson on CNN about what is going on in Libya tore at my heart strings. Gaddafi’s Next Move: Sabotage Oil and Sow Chaos? Libyan dictator Muammar Al Gaddafi intends on staying power at the cost of the people. I went to bed thinking what can the American people do to help the people during their turmoil? Never before during my lifetime have I ever witness such chaos, voilence nor turmoil to a group of people.
“I’m in central Tripoli now,” he said. “The people who don’t love me don’t deserve to live,” he added, as more top Libyan officials and entire Embassies and missions abroad continued to desert him.
“The constitution is very clear: take the weapons from them,” Gaddafi said, speaking by telephone to Libyan television.
“I only have moral authority,” said Gaddafi, who has traditionally sought to present himself as a leader of a revolution that is led by the people, rather than a traditional executive head of state.
Gaddafi’s last-ditch effort to appease Libyans involves a medium typically used to make brunch plans. John Ensign proved that the pot should never demonize the kettle for paying for sex. And one-in-five Americans think health care reform has been repealed, meaning untold numbers of grandmothers are wandering about in public, thinking they’re free of the death panels. Get back in your crawl spaces, grandmothers!
Although we are not able to do anything immediately for the people that are suffering during the most chaotic time during my lifetime. The least we can do is pray for the people of Libya. We all may come from all different walks of life…there comes a time you must look squarely in the face of injustice and understand the suffering of all mankind. Folks are suffering around the globe who suffer much serious plights than a simple plight. We must be real with ourselves about mankind suffering and ask ourselves…when is enough a enough? Join together and pray for all people around the globe that are suffering. Less we forget about the people in Libya. I weep….I really weep for the suffering of all people. God bless all people in the world. I pray…I realize that my problems are not that big than those who suffer at the hands of someone they must beg for mercy that is not bigger than the lord I serve…JESUS! Please help the people of Libya! I have nothing else to hang my hat on but the word of the Lord! STAND!
My heart bleeds for the people who have nothing to do with the chaos that has been unfolding under Libyan dictator Muammar Al Gaddafi. I WEEP for their survivors of Libya. I have nothing else to hang my hat on but the gospel that from whence I was raise for peace.
Peace be still for the people…..lord have mercy! “I WEEP”!
Let us all pray this will be over soon in our own spiritual languages! Please come together people who cross this blog despite your religion affiliation and political affiliation…PLEASE!
It is not as if the President Obama does not have enough already on his agenda but some folks believe it is the responsibility of the President of the United States to save the people of Libya. According to these folks the President of the United States should “Give Gaddafi a Real Message”. I am wondering what message is the President of the United States suppose to send? After all isn’t this the same person who claim to call “He is someone I consider a friend. He knows he is a son of Africa. Regardless of his African belonging, he is of Arab Sudanese descent, or of Muslim descent. He is a man whose policy should be supported, and he should be assisted in implementing it in any way possible, since he is now leaning towards peace.”
As I said before “President Barack Obama” and the entire White House staff are the hardest working black man and current administration staff in America today. As difficult as we think our suitations and circumstances are at this difficult time, we have something to lean our hats on “BE GRATEFUL”!
Courage and conviction about my country “TIS OF THEE”! I am an “African American” born as an “United States of American Citizen” and proudly I stand despite all of our circumstances and situations. I will continue to salute the America flag of the “United States of America” and anyone who reside and was born in this beautiful country tis of thee should to the same. Take nothing for granted my dear people because it could be you pleading for help as the people who are caught up in chaos around the globe are doing; as we watch in horror from our televison screen.
While your preparing to hang out in your neighborhood to get your party on and popping, drink to be merry and damn I look good moment. Remember there is always someone with a bigger story to tell than your story. God bless America and hang your hat on that thought. “I AM AN AMERICAN and PROUD” You should be too! God bless the U.S.A. and all of our allies!
