Imagine my surprise when I read on March 1, 2012 that Starbucks was giving away Snapseed. While supplies last Starbucks app pick of the week is a white card that has an download code on the back to redeem in the iTunes store.
I happen to be driving by an Starbucks yesterday. I stopped in the coffee store. In a corner sitting on an windowsill in a box the cards were calling my name. iPhoneographer and iPad photographers will enjoy the free Starbucks pick of the week Snapseed app.

Apple selected Snapseed as their iPad App of the Year in their Rewind 2011 feature. Snapseed makes all our shots look like they were taken by pros”.
Snapseed is $4.99 in the App Store. Requirements: Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 4.2 or later. JPEG and TIFF photos, RAW photos (requires iPad or iPad2) transferred using the Camera Connector Kit (if files show up as a small thumbnail, go to Settings > Location Services and turn this setting to On for Snapseed. This is required to allow Snapseed to use the iOS RAW processing). 16 MP images for iPad 2 and iPhone 4, 4S. Language support: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Chinese
