I love eating a juicy steak every now and then. I remember eons ago. Dr. Swartz my Computer Science professor would talk about loving to eat steaks at Blackies in Washington, DC until he had a heart attack. The restaurant is now closed. I tread lightly when consuming red meat. When I do chomp down on a juicy steak. Serve it rare and seasoned to perfection.
I saute Zucchini, Squash from my garden last summer in Olive Oil….pulled from the freezer. Of course I would love for the veggies to be fresh. It still does not get any better than growing ones own vegetables. Add fresh mushrooms in the mix and sprinkle with Cayenne pepper. Saute until hot and sprinkle with dried Rosemary grown in my herb patch. Done
I put Basil Pesto on one side after broiling on one side, topped with raw garlic, seasoning and sprinkled with dried Rosemary.
Serve me my steak rare. It is juicier and tender. YUMMY!
Dinner was served in less than 30 minutes from the oven. Broil on high until desired broiling on both sides. Done.
