Celebrate Festivus Today By Airing Your Grievances

Festivus is a secular holiday celebrated on December 23 as another way to celebrate the holiday season without participating in its pressures and commercialism. It was created by writer Dan O Keefe and introduced into popular culture by his son Daniel, a  screenwriter for the TV show Seinfeld as part of a comical storyline on the show. Today we get to air the year’s grievances and perform the feats of strength, both important parts of Festivus, a grumpy, anti-consumerist holiday popularized by Frank Costanza on Seinfeld. Celebrate Festivus today by airing your grievances. Tell everyone it’s Festivus Day. Festivus for the Rest of Us- O.C. Jail style, today air your grievances and get what you want, he did for two months.
