Finally Disney decided to come out with an African American character….well it is about time considering blacks have been around since BC time. Now I am waiting for a doll to reflect the princess image in the movie to start popping up on shelves along with a green frog. Is this groundbreaking or is it in line with the fact that we have an African American president with little princesses of his own? I know that is an offhanded remark but jeez it really did take Disney long enough…now were are the Chinese, Asian, other ethnic group movies going to come out on the big screen? I hope soon because then it really would be groundbreaking if these manufactures of kids doll products represented an global front for dolls characters of multiple ethnic groups.
